S line spoiler foam ??

I have managed to get myself a s line roof spoiler, the part of it that sits above the rear window has some foam on the spoiler 5mm x 5mm which I had to remove for it to be painted. Do I need to buy some to stick back on it before I fit it or have other people fitted it without the foam ??

Just want to get it right before its too late !

I did mine last week. I brought a foam strip off ebay.

Self adhesive Black foam tape/strip/coils/rolls 12mm wide x 3mm thick | eBay

Took too long to get here so brought a long roll of brown weather strip from homebase and used a marker pen to turn it black. Looks identical and fits perfectlly.

And because the roll is long and you only use a bit of it, less ethical people could then return the weather strip back to the shop for a full refund.
But that would make you a bad person.
