How easy was the splitter to fit mate? I wouldn't want to fit one and it comes off on the motorway or the superb 60mph winding country roads where i live!

piece of pi$$ to fit, can even do it without raising the car, and fit with self tapping screws. Get some black silicone to make a complete seal between it and the bottom of the bumper, finishes it off nicely.

The splitter was only £16 from a Seat dealer.
As for it coming off at 60mph, ive tested mine up to the 155mph limiter (on private roads of course)

    Torque terrorist

what screws did you use and is it a simple case of drilling holes in the splitter then screwing to the bottom of the bumper with no other mods
    am buying one shortly

Yes i drilled some pilot holes in the splitter in line with the securing tabs which you'll see when you buy yours. You'll need to trim the two small center sections off the splitter so the middle sits flush (really easy) then just run a bead of black sealer to neaten up where the splitter meets the bumper. One other thing to note is if you have headlight washers be careful when screwing up into the bumper along the passenger side front lip as the water hose runs along, inside the front. I screwed into mine so learn from my mistake and use screws that are not too long.
