Hi all. I have a 2004 a4 1.8t sline 20v bex engine. Cambelt has snapped. Whar other engines can i use as replacement while i work on cars original engine.

I would say like for like, but woul buy a cheap car for less than an engine and run that while you work on the current engine............then sell the car

Its only valve sizes that are different.
