Rust

Hoping this is a simple thing, my brothers car has a 5p sized missin bit on paint on the leading edge of the bonnet. It is brown with rust, told him to do domething with it quick.... question is how do I treat the rust before I repaint ?

halfords do some thing caled krust may have spelt that wrong ;-) good stuff used it for years are you doing the hole bonnet ? if so im sure you can buy the stuff audi use on them as iv just had my wing done and it was on the bill.

Thanks chaps, just going to touch it up, its a patch smaller than a 5p so should be simple enough.
