running temp

    hi i noticed my a3 temp sits at 70deg is this normal as my mk4 golf i had sat at 90deg all the time when warm cheers j

    should be 90 degrees too.Probably the stat TBH

    normal range is actually 80 - 105, however during this range the gauge will sit at 90 (to stop people worrying and calling audi lol)

    if your gauge says 70, the temp sensor most likely works (when they don't they sit at 60), if you have a blast on the motorway and pull over, let it idle for a while, does the temp raise a little more ? if so it is almost certainly the thermostat
