Running 20's

Firstly, i would just like to say hello to everyone one on the b8 side of the forum.
I have been on the site for a while, using it mainly for refernece for the S3 8p3 i have just traded in. I am now the owner of a ibis 170 sline avant. It has the standard 18s on at the moment, hovever im looking to upgrade them to 20s. I have seen a few cars running them, and think the car can take it without looking o.t.t.
So, the main question. What would be the lowest offset and best width that will not give problems and what is the acceptable tyre size 255/35, 255/30?????????????
In terms of lowering the car i would be keeping it sensible, nothing too drastic.

Depends what size tyres fella, I've posted a few pics up, most run OEM 20"s off an A6/A8. 20"x9, 235/30 sits nice on there, you can go 245/30, depends on what ride height you want.
