Looking to upgrade my standard wheels for RS6 style one's..

Have seen a few for sale on flea bay, but with massively differing offsets, if I remember correctly the right offset for A4 is ET42 (no doubt I'll be corrected if this wrong) but what difference would say an ET54 make?

ET54 seems to be standard for the A3 models, I will probably be getting coliovers soon as well, so don't want to go down the road of wheels being too far out/having to fit spacers/having rubbing issues...

All advice/assistance gratefully received as usual...

Cheers

Steve

try to get as near at 42 as you can
54 will pull them in

Maybe even abit lower than 43. I run 33 on the rear and it fills the archs lovely.

i run 35 on my 20" and my new 18"s are 35 fill arch just right no need for spacers

I'd agree with that, all A4 RS style wheels came ET43, anything any higher (from A3's) and you'll need 20mm + spacers (too much imo), there are plenty of Ronals with ET43 about. If you then put 10mm spacers all round it will look great!
