Rs4 ecu cover

Evening all sorry if this has been coverd already but I couldn't seem to find anything. I have just just bought the rs4 ecu cover to go with the scuttle panel but how do you install it? It seem way to large to go over the top is it a replacement or does it sit over the top of my current ecu box.

You can secure it...but's a pain.......it's perfectly adequate just to let it sit over the section.....it doesn't move. I have had mine like that for 2 years without a single issue. This is quite a good how to from an Audi owner's blog. Audi A4 Engine Cover Kit Install | Audiction.com

I bought the RS4 ecu cover and converted it as it is to big,





Then I glued it to the scuttle cover

Just curious, does the diesel A4 b7 have a diff ecu cover to the petrol ?

Because on mine I bought the scuttle tray and battery cover and fitted it straight in. With out having to change the ecu box or cut anything.

Yes mate the petrol ecu box sits higher or at least the cover is deeper

Ive done same as mac on this one, glue didnt work to well tho, so its just a show piece atm just pop it under when the bonnets open

was thinking of making something underneath it for it to sit on tbh dont think it would take to much work, but the use at the min isnt really a problem lol
