RS4 backbox

    How different is it from the 1.8t a4? i have the chance to get one and i like the tailpipes better on it as they are larger.
    If the pipe goes to the sameish place then i could get it made to fit?

    Main bore is larger.

    For what it's worth, I'd be inclined to keep a 1.8T backbox.

    And weld on RS4-style tailpipes.

    Yeah I have an RS4 backbox in my mums garage. It will fit onto all the hangers etc but it would hang lower as the RS4 bumper is deeper.

    I fitted it to my system but the system kept hitting the ground so I took it off.

    If anyone wants it pm me.

    Probably a better idea, are the standard tail pipes chrome like the milltek ?

    RS4 tailpipes will look absolutley massive comapred to a 1.8T.

    With the RS4 rear on they should look sweet :)

    Markey, are you buying the replica RS4 rear bumper, the one that Docurley posted previously?

    I am indeed :) i think making the OEM one fit will be to hard and will kink along the sides when pushed in.
