Hi all, new to this forum and Audi's in general..
I have found a 56 plate RS4 black with 80k on the clock, 1 owner from new and it is owned by the Managing Director of Bennets Motor factors.. the car has recenlty had a new clutch and fly wheel fitted new discs and pads alround. Externally wise it has quite a few stone chips across the front but has had all 4 wheels re furbed.. what sort of money should this car be valued at out of intrest??

Also what are the things to look for on them..

    Many thanks

    Dan

Best place to value a car is autotrader/pistonheads - just see what other cars are going for. Factor in mileage and age, but things like it being owned by a motor-trade type or the new clutch are just bargaining points. They don't add any real value to the car (well actually the clutch would, but not much). Basically, stuff like that are good for deciding between 2 otherwise similar cars, but shouldn't add anything on to the price.

Read this for "what to look for":

You don't say if it's an Avant or Saloon but with that mileage roughly £16-£18k for a Saloon and £18-£20k for an Avant.

Buckets seem to make the prices a bit higher and check its got Satnav as it was an option on early cars.

Satnav was standard on the cab, but it was always an option on the saloon and Avant (an option that the majority ticked though).

    Bi-xenons were standard spec.

Shame it's a saloon - "the only real RS is an Avant".

While I agree whole-heartedly, I'm more of a "do-as-I-say-not-as-I-do" type, so I'm going for a saloon too. It was a tough enough decision to move up from my 3dr hatch, but a move worth making to end up with an RS4. I think an Avant would maybe be a step too far though.

I went from a 3-door Corsa GSi to a 3-door S3 to an S4 Avant and then an RS4 Avant.

The practicality of a hatch or estate is a major factor for me - seeing the look on peoples faces as we loaded a fully boxed new dishwasher into the back of my RS4 Avant was priceless!

I love the Advants the look of them is flawless Imo, but I would never need an estate, and love my saloon,!
