Any RS3 owners here swapped their Audi OEM rotors for something else?

I've got the 19" ones.. any ideas which other makes I can opt for whereby I can reuse the Continentals provided ?

Yea, but was hoping know stuff like the tyre profile.. my understanding our front tyres are slightly larger than the rears?

So wanna make sure we get the right rims to fit those tyres...?

Unless you went for the larger wheel pack which is 255's at the front and 235's at the rear you'll be on 8Jx19 rims, ET50 5x112 bolt pattern with 235's on front and 225's on rear?

I'm looking out for a set of Sportec Mono 10's on a 8.5Jx19 ET42. Have gone 235's all round on OEM rotors and 235's would fit on these as well. 225 would look stretched. 8.5Jx19 rims are about as wide as you would really want to do, I suspect 9x19 rims would rub the linings on turn in etc.

Send me a PM. I can provide you with the ET dimensions of the standard wheel. From the standard ET YOU can decide whether, or not, a wheel and/or tyre will fit into your wheel arch without rubbing the contact points: it's than simple.

P_G does know that I/we have been down this path before, and it is VERY emotive: you pays yer money and yer takes yer choice, and if you are content, then well done you.

Me? I've stayed standard with a spare set of 'original Audi rims...

    Were they expensive? Yes!

Could I have got cheaper? Yes!

Would I have been content? No!

Would I have felt safe when pressing on? No?

What did I do? Paid the money for a set of originals...

Do I question that decision? Of course!

And the cost saving between original Audi wheels and others? A lot initially, but very little overall!

SO, back to the beginning: you pays yer money and yer takes yer choice!

    Tsk, simples...

Some of it's in the RS3 brochure, page 24, and some is on the back of the wheels

    Standard alloys :-

19” x 8J ‘5-arm Rotor’ design alloy wheels finished in titanium with 235/35 tyres front and 225/35 tyres rear

    Optional Extra Alloys :-

19” x 8.5J ‘5-arm Rotor’ design alloy wheels finished in titanium with 255/30 tyres front and 225/35 tyres rear.

I'm pretty sure the rear alloys with the optional pack are 8.0J still though (although it's not clear from the above).

Standard Alloys (front & Rear) :-
    19 x 8.0J
    ET 50
    5 x 112
    Front tyres : 235/35/19 XL
    Rear tyres : 225/35/19 XL

    Optional Extra Alloys Front
    19 x 8.5J
    ET 53
    5x112
    255/30/19 XL tyres

    Optional Extra Alloys Rear
    19 x 8.0J
    ET 50
    5x112
    225/35/19 XL tyres
