Man that car looks beautiful. And what a woman to capture it for you
I clean the cars pretty much weekly but mostly just a wash and dry.
I use the clay bar to remove any surface imperfections, tar etc as and when needed - just run your hand over the car, any areas that aren't perfectly smooth use the clay:
Then the HD paint cleanser to make the surface ready for the wax, again only if the area has some imperfection or has lost beading:
Then the HD wax:
It's difficult to say exactly how often, if just road use maybe every 3 months but after a track day the excess rubber and tar flying about usually means a full clean is required.
As I said earlier more expensive products are available but for me these do the job at a reasonable price. For me it's good enough and I enjot the process which is probably the main point.
Robbie, allow me the honour:-
Resistance is futile!
Come on Robbie I thought you'd have used this image for 5 days left!?!
Aaaaawwwhhhh sh;t........ great shout, tomorrow's a bute though...... Looking forward to Sunday mate
I just can't wait till two days left!...god knows what you are gonna post then!
Aye Sunday should be a hoot!, hope the weather holds as Saturday looks like a bit pants!
my car is going to be filthy by the time i get there... wondering whether or not to take everything down with me and clean it Sunday morning
Wrap it with just a hole big enough to see out!
oh.. that is an idea, the missus can just look at me for 4 hours (what a treat for her)
Great idea, I'll give you a whole £5 if you'll do mine as well
Alternatively you could bring some of this and a few microfibre cloths in the boot:
Oops how silly of me, as this is an RS section I of course mean this Swissvax product that does the same thing for just 7 times the price, but then it does have nano technology...
I think we may need ground rules for the meet.
Can i suggest no politic's? it doesn't promote the fun day i want to have
Love it..... no complaints...... and it's seven because?
Fully agree Neil! I intend this to be a day, and few beers the night before where possible, of petrolhead nirvana with way to much talk about driving, BHP, tyres, brakes, best roads and way to many car related pictures. I especially hoping to see some 'hands in the bar' - which is pilot speak for when you pretend to be flying a plane to recount a story of derring-do after the event.
For me it's all about the RS3!
Its still 7 of 9 (Jeri Ryan), just with a "different" look!
God!....he's blown it AGAIN!
Sun for the East, rain for us on Sunday... :-/
Arrange a meet up down south ?
NO worries... ROAD sh*t in the wheel arches and up the back; SNOW even... BLUEY and me WILL be there...
Apologies robbie, one too many rings - I know already
Hi John never really noticed the rings to be honest..........
