RS3 grille on S3? facelift model

Thanks. I thought it might be but wasnt sure. My old B7 didnt accept the RS4 grille either as I had the non-S Line. If I'd had the S-Line it would have been a straight swap as far as I understand
The facelift grill is slightly wider and its a different shape,but still the same depth....wait am sure the aftermarket grill boyz will have one soon

I wish some 3rd party would reproduce that grill, the scale grill is the best grill idea Audi produced and they such fools for continuing to ignore any concept designs they put out.
Instead the production models will have the cheaper honeycomb grill which adding a license plate to it will only enhance it's hideous looks.
I got a reply from Xenonz. They aren't going to have the RS3 grille for facelift S3 any time soon
If you like chrome...l really would'nt change it l think the new front grill looks awesome....l dont like chrome at all,but l do like Matt Aluminum...a lot

I never understood why someone would want to mod a car to make it appear as an upper model...
You're going to get a nice new S3 and you want to f**k it up with a RS3 grill... The RS3 grill is for the RS3 a sign of distinction so to speak and it doesn't belong on a S3!

yeah I know.
A shame Audi's quattro GmbH team don't know how to make a scale-like grill in production sense.
Instead what's going to happen is competitors are going to take these concept ideas and go full swing with it.
Like a certain company that now has Peter Schreyer working for them.
Some aftermarket makers are already pushing the honeycomb grills. Audi should be unique and provide a snake/fish scale-like grill like on the A3 Clubsport concept.

I have thoughts of adding silver mirror caps to my A3 wing mirrors.
and before you say your car is not an S3.
I would argue that the A3 sedan was initially unveiled with Silver wing mirrors. This should be an cosmetic option.

The new RS3 Saloon and prospective SB have a totally different bumper not just the grill aperture so I doubt it would fit. Would look wrong anyway - why don't you just look for an RS3? There are plenty available!
Yes! i just want to de-chrome my S3, maybe i will try with vinyl, is a 2017 so i dont want to change it right now but hope in the future i can go for the new RS..

awesome stuff, spray it on and you just peel it iff when finished. my sons have used it plenty times on wheels etc. One even did his roof black then just removed it when he sold the car. coo stuff.

Ive been told the FL grills are the same as the PFL so the RS3 grill should fit, but im yet to try it to confirm.

Thinking outside the box here... but does the current TT and A4 have the same grill as the FL? Xenonz have RS styles of both if so.
Can't find anything about grill dimensions so no idea apart from the fact they look very alike

Its xenons that told me it was the same so just going off what theyve said. If it doesnt fit ill send it back, no harm done

Like i said, i was to try it to confirm. Ive never had them next to each other to compare. If someone who specialises in grills tells you it fits, you tend to go of their recommendation.

The TTS/A4 have even wider front grille than the face lifted A3

Audi F'ed up the FL grill. It looks better on the A4 and TT.

True, but that's to stop the people who steal them for their 1.4 A3 S3 wannabes.....! So if people were happy with the version they bought and didn't try to just bolt bits on from other models I wouldn't need them. Touché I say...!
