RON coded plug

I was looking at my engine earlier and I noticed something. At the back of the engine bay there is a brown plug which I assume to be the RON code plug. For my car, A4 1.8t Quattro Sport engine code AJL, I thought that it should have a plug marked 98. The one in my car is marked 87. Am I just being stupid or has my car got the wrong coded plug

RON plugs havent been around for years, only the old Jetronic and very early motronic systems use them, later motronics had them but it didnt change the RON just acted a bit like a diag plug, and i've certainly never seen one on the A4

Can you take a pic of this plug?

Brown plug is normally the one that goes to the Oxy sensor IIRC
