When did the Mk2 RNSE come out?

I've found a possible s3 purchase and whilst the description says "DVD SATELLITE NAVIGATION SYSTEM PLUS" there are no pictures so can't yet tell whether this will be Mk1 or 2

Also - any ways of telling once I get to view it? Am I right in thinking mk2 will have a media button rather than cd/tv?

I think it was 2009/2010 mate.

And yes, a Mk2 will have the media button and chrome dials.

mk1 units in 8p2 S3 and mk2 in 8p3 (facelift) cars... 57 plate would be 8p2
