So, just to check, I am planning to do the following:

• Source myself a 32 Pin AV connector and re-locate the Lilac, Yellow and Green cable as per the above post
• Move the Bose (brown) wire to Pin 7 on the Blue Quadlock connector -This will leave only one wire in this block

Does this make sense?

Good spot - that looks to be it alright. Pin 7 for the Concert\Symphony is providing earth for the Aux-In port .
