Anybody on here clued up about the RNSE head unit?

In particular if I fit an RNSE out of an A4 to a 2001 AMK S3 with all the relevant harnesses and code it in properly with VCDS can I then buy accessories for it that state they’ll work with an A4 RNSE?

Basically I want to know if this:

https://m.ebay.co.uk/itm/Premium-Bl...907080?hash=item3d364b4308:g:BeoAAOSwPzhaDXuB

could be plugged into the back of the RNSE unit with the iso to quad lock harness adaptor from the original wiring to it and it all work as it should do?

I know there would be a lot of wiring to contend with at the back of the stereo and I’m willing to deal with that but don’t want to fork out good money for something that was never going to work!!

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Although it’s an a4 rnse you have to code It as a a6 as it the closest setup (same generation k line)to the 8l

So if I got a Bluetooth kit designed for an A6 RNSE it would work?

Or can anyone recommend one that they’ve installed and works well?

Edit: Just seen your reply, I’ll take a look. Thanks

The genuine kit doesn’t support music streaming though which is the main reason I want it.

Anyone else with any first hand experience? Must be quite a few of us out there that have done this?
