RNS-E upgrade

I have just bought a RNS-E unit and hope to fit it over the weekend.
I also have a phatnoise system to install at the same time.
My car has the Symphony II with Bose, BT Bluetooth phone prep and mfsw do I need to do any recoding with VAGCOM?

well rns can slot in most times without coding but if you have other kit then it might indeed need coding correctly so always advisable to have on cue anyway so you can check for any thrown codes & recode accordingly, its only £230, how much was your rns, so cheap & does far load more than the rns

You need the CAN gateway recoding or it will throw loads of error codes.
