RNS-E question

Just a quick question as I haven't stumbled across this in the user manual just yet.

When I press the CAR button then the SETUP button should I be able to customise the car's settings, such as door unlocking preferences, coming home light settings and so on. Or can these settings only be changed through the DIS?

the setup button is only for the RNS-E, those other settings can only be changed through the VCDS lead.

That's a bit of a ******, I had assumed it would work because it does on the A4 and A6 (although I realise that is via their MMI systems, rather than the RNS-E).

Yeh the MMI system was quite good on the new A4 loaner I had for a day... No such joy on the RNS-E.
