RNS-E Question (Audi A4 B6 2002 Sport)

Can I pose a silly question.

I'm thinking of a double DIN install with an RNS-E, I don't have a MFSW and want to keep my standard sport steering wheel.

I'm tempted in putting in an RNS-E but not too bothered with the navigation side as most of my driving is local anyway.

Will the RNS-E still require any form of coding or is it just plug and play with a few additional harnesses etc.

As long as it is coded A4 already then it will work pretty well without coding. Always best to get it coded to make sure everything is set correctly.

That was the answer I was hoping for, I'll take your advice anyway as you're an expert on these installs and get it coded when I buy one.
