just a quick one I have a 2006 a4 convertible 2.0tdi sport and I have a few issues with the rns-e but I think this one might steer me in the right direction, I had the radio out earlier trying to diagnose why the radio signal was very poor and realised that the idiot that put it in decided to put some form of booster on it that just killed it so after removing that everything with the signal became fine, I also had a poke around because looking at the door cards it says I have bose but on the unit I have to turn the base to full to hear any base what so ever so I thought the guy must not have moved the pin from 3 to 7 and/or not coded it correctly but after reading a thread on here it says that if you have a brown plug then you don't have bose
is that correct?
