Hi,

Ive gone and got a good deal on an RNS-E manufactured July 2011. Part number is 8E0 035 192 TX.

I was just wondering if there is anything special about the TX variant. I have checked online, but nothing seems to come up for the TX, however only one digit variants are coming up on the net.

Its on its way to me, but just curious about it thats all.

Nope, nothing special afaik, same mk1 rns as the b6/7 has always had.

X usually denotes exchange model, so they exchanged a faulty unit for this, allows audi to give cheaper price on parts if you part ex an old version, same with clusters & other reusable items.

Not at all mate, you're correct imho as they're probably refurbs anyway lol.
