I've read a few rumours that there's a hacked 0660 version of the RNS-E software with a few features like VIM hack, Altimeter, extra audio settings, track title scrolling on the DIS and most importantly: a workaround for the 400 file limit on the SD cards!!

    Any ideas?

No, its not a myth, its just 650 with the SDS hack added given it has to change number to see it as an update, even if same 650 firmware with added SDS files

VIM hack is another update by itself, I havnt actually done it to mine tbh, have to open the files & check if they have done the same route so would need to be 0670 to update, given my SDS is on & running on 0660
