    hi guys

i dont suppose theres any way, easy ways of doctoring the system so i can watch dvds while im driving that people know of? i know in my old golf i was meant to wire it to the hand brake so when it was off you couldnt watch it, but i got the lad to wire it differently so i could watch it whenever. would this be the case on the RNS-E?? or would there be more to it?

Its possible, but not an easy 5 minute job, there's a VIM hack firmware that can do this, but you need to be knowledgable to play with such things, plus you'd need a media adapter to plug the dvd into the rns & if you get caught, you'll probably get a hefty fine & points.
