Hi does anyone know where to download the 2001 disk from, had a look at the normal places but prices seem a bit high for a disk thats 9 years old

Thanks for that, been looking and didnt see it. have sent message as he is quoting from 2001 on when mines 1999, and since he says to check that its compatible first, i thought i would ask.

Got answer back.

Audi's catalogue says:
A6 4B CHASSIS FROM WEEK 18/2001 PRODUCTION

Mine is a 1999 on a T plate, but I do have the RNS-D, can anyone confirm whether this disk is ok for mine or not.
