Revs dying when breaking

    As the subject really, a3 1.8t. The car almost dies when pulling upto a roundabout or stopping. It idles normally when not moving though.

    Sounds like a Vacuum leak

    The breaks should still work with no vacuum pipe attached shouldn't they? Just to rule it out by blanking it off from the manifold

    they will work but with no assist, be careful..
