Was given select plus switch free with my revo stage 1 remap a few years ago and have never used it. It is set on boost7 timing 5 and fuel 9.

The car has fmic, forge tip, 007p, pipercross panel filter (soon to be jetex cone)

Can anyone recommend any adjustments i can make? don't really want to go messing around with something i don't fully andstand yet

Best advice is don't change it without testing with vag-com, however you cna play with it a little bit quite safely. Timing depends on the fuel you use (revo website advises which settings for different RON fuels). Settings look about right though tbh for the mods you've listed. I'm the same as you but no FMIC and i run boost at 6. (I have given Revo a call about it a couple times and they were pretty helpful).
Be nice no to get peoples prefered settings and mods in this thread to give others an idea though?

Dont touch it mate. Once you've got all the mods you want get yourself down to a rolling road and get everything tweaked by someone who knows their stuff.

Just for reference though mine is a Stage 2 Revo and is running the following:

    Boost 7
    Timing 4
    Fuel 9

    I have 3" DP, B5 TIP & Jetex, FMIC

Stage 2 is kind of custom in that it can be tweaked to make the most of the FMIC, DP, and induction kit. I've not had a full custom map but I think for a standard turbo you'll be ok with stage 2. If you went big turbo or hybrid then it's custom map time.
