Reversing Mirror Issue

Hi,

I spend my time on the A3 section, but my parents have recently sold there B7 A4 2.0T and got an S4. My question is: On the A4 if you left the mirror position on 'L', then the mirror would dip when the car went into reverse, whereas the S4 does not do this. Can it be coded to do this via VCDS?

Any help would be appreciated

Hi Chris, I too have an S4 and have asked the same question. I was told, this is only possible if you have the 'memory' settings option fitted, (memorises seat position/mirror settings etc)

Thanks a lot, their A4 had memory seats so it seems that could be the answer I was looking for, but didn't want to hear!

I've got memory seats and wasn't aware of this, where's the L setting, forgive me if I'm being a bit thick and it's obvious lol.

on the mirror adjustment stalk, L for left mirror and r for right.

edit: just realised thats sounds like im being a bit funny with you mate but im not
