Reverse light not working

Hi there for a while now i have noticed my reverse light hasnt been working

I have an A3 1.6FSI 3 Door

checked the bulb its checked out fine

chaecked all the fuses they checked out ok too

got a friend to check it out and told me there is no power going to the switch

i seen a thread on here a while ago on how to fix it, but cant seem to find it again.


any help or information would be very much appreciated

im just wondering. Would I need to scan the car to get the reverse lights to work or will it be broken wires somewhere in the loom?
