Just wondering if anyone has upgraded from a standard to a multi function wheel? I have SatNav radio/GSM Mobile and would be great to control these via steering wheel

Been in touch with my local dealership who gave me the reply that I knew I was going to get . . . .Dunno?!?!!

I'm thinking it must be possible as the main wiring loom cant be that diffent.

Any ideas anybody?

Bit of a iffy one this....

I have done a lot of research on this with help from people on this forum.

There is no definitive answer until you take your own wheel and airbag apart to see if the wiring loom for the multi function is there. I'm guessing it won't be if you don't have it already, it would make sense to have all cars the same but Audi don't tend to do this for some reason!

I.E different seats completely for heated and non heated
different airbags for flat bottom steering wheel and normal steering wheel

I priced retro fitting the flat bottom multi function wheel for my new S3 and just for parts it would be nearly a grand and that was without fitting, coding and not even attempting the multi function capability!
