Resetting Service Indicator

Hi all, just had my A3 serviced, but not by Audi dealer, my dad is a retired mechanic so he did it for me. Does anybody know how to reset the service indicator? I've followed the instructions from an Autodata manual but it only resets the oil change interval. I have feeling that it'll be a vagcom job. It's on a 59 plate 2.0TDI Black Edition.

Yeahhad mine changed and did it via vagcom

Try searching other methods as there are numerous methods to do this via the buttons in the speedo. If all else fails check the VCDS map for someone close to you.

fairly sure major services are only do via sri on vagcom
