Replacing Rocker Gasket on S4 2.7 BT help please

Got my S4 but it has a slight leak on the Rocker gasket, so i was wondering how easy a job this is to replace? or has anybody done a how to guide?

I am no mechanic, but i am competent with simple jobs on cars.

Engine is the S4 2.7 Bit Turbo

easy mate, just take off the Y pipe, the air intake box, turbo intake pipes and the plastic cover and then its self explanitory. you should be able to do it within an hour off and on.

make sure you use some liquid gasket on the sharp corners

and borrow a torque wrench for the little bolts. should be pretty straight forward

no need for a torque wrench if you aint got one so dont stress for one.

I did it without one and stripped one of the studs...

They arent very robust things!

mine were fine, just take your time and you got it sorted.

m6 bolts, they want 10nm and you have to get it even to make sure it seals properly.

why not do it properly? its hardly like the AGB is a fun lump to work on
