I've just got under my 2001 S6 5speed tiptronic and its got rather a bad leak from the rear gearbox output for the prop.
had anyone done one of these and what can I expect? I've looked at the exploded parts view and it looks like just a rear crank seal? if this is the case it shouldn't be too bad, hook out and press in? what about getting the prop flange out of the gearbox once ive unbolted the prop?
any help, pics, how-to's greatly received
