My s3 just failed its mot due to the rear foglight indicator lamp on the dash not illuminating.

Hopefully its just a bulb that needs replacing. Can anyone give me a few pointers on what needs to be removed in order to gain access to replace the bulb?
Dont suppose anybody knows what bulb itll be off the top of their heads??

There is an indicator lamp on the dash to tell you you have 'lights' on but as JimP has said, the fog light indicator is part of the light switch....

...and as far as I know all the 'lights' on the dash are LED's so shouldn't blow...

yep your right there is no indicator on the dash itself.

its the indicator on the headlight switch which is not working. i have removed the surround of the headlight switch. do you know if the complete unit comes out?

Didn't think that would be an MOT fail!

The whole unit comes out. Push the switch inwards hard then twist clockwise and pull out.
