Hi,

I need to replace the nearside cornering bulb on my A6. I watched a few videos I found on how to get access to the headlight unit but turns out that my engine takes up a lot more space than the ones in the videos (3.0TDi). I wasn't able to get the power steering bottle as far away as they were and even though I eventually got the cover off the back of the headlight I wasn't able to get to the back of the bulb as it appears to be quite deep inside the unit.

Has anyone managed to do this? I can't find any guides that show with as restricted access as there is on mine.

Thanks,

Having just watched a video for bumper cover removal and headlight removal this looks easier than what I was trying to do from the inside!

Take the wheel arch liner out (may have to remove the wheel) then you can access the bulb.

Thanks, I'll give that a try at the weekend when I have longer in the daylight.
