Replacement Air Filter on A3 2.0tdi 170, anybody done this?

Hi everyone,

Was looking at replacing the panel air filter with maybe a pipercross one. When I went on there site it stated that the 170bhp model goes upto 2006?? They dont have a later one.

Has anybody done this. Have looked on a few pages and not seen anyone who has. Sorry if this post is repeated anywhere.

Pointless thing to do, stick with standard paper filter.

For the sake of £30-40 I would just stick in an unrated panel filtler.

I had a Green panel filter in my 2004 2.0TDI - no idea if it made any difference but it was cheap.

The panel filter is the same size for the 170 so any panel filter from 2003-now for a TDI will fit

Go with Green or ITG!
