Repair rear screen element - possible?

This winter I noticed that the top two horizontal elements of the rear window demister didn't seem to be working.
Then, a few weeks ago, driving to work the low sun was just at the right angle to highlight that the element appears to have a section missing that look suspiciously shaped like a dealer sticker. On closer inspection it looks like the previous owner has whipped off the dealers sticker and taken a layer of the element off with it.

Can this be repaired or will I need a new rear screen?

Yup, could do it years ago!

Oops, just remembered, the ends you are joining have to be electrically clean, so the current will pass to the new paint. Should be full instructions with the pen. :icon_thumright:
