About ****** time. Apparently the Avantime is pedicted to follow suit. Shame the Megane isn't been canned with the rest of the whacky crappy looking excuses for motor vehicles /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Wow, it was a hideous car but had loads of kit fitted as standard, they have only been building it a short while, and the new Megane is just as bad. At least they have seen the error of their ways!

The worst thing to happen in the automotive industry in recent times was to make the worlds ugliest hatchback the ECoTY.... the Megane /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/vomit.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/jawdrop.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif
The judges must love ugly cars cause the Multipla won it as well.... are the judges french /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/****.gif

The manufacturers of these 'art nouveau' cars are designing them with their home market in mind ie France and Italy. Both countrys are famous for their fashion of course and just think of some of the monstrosities that you see at the catwalk shows (the clothes not the women!). The car designers are taking a leaf out of the clothes designers book that is producing designs that are 'funky' and 'different', problem is 'funky' and 'different' generally means that the car looks totally crap! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

The only mainstream manufacturer that gets away with producing cars that are a bit different IMHO is Alfa Romeo. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif
