Want to take the grill off my 2.0 tfsi to give access to the radiator to remove the build up of dead flies. How straightforward is this and what's involved? I haven't got around to getting a manual yet. Thanks guys.
You will need to remove the bumper in order to unbolt the grille, pretty simple to do. A few bolts around the bonnet catch area and a few inside each wheel arch (behind the liner) and it comes away quite easily.
I dont know about the facelift grill (big one) but if its the twin grill, all you need to do is remove the top panel above the grill and lean in and pop the clips out round the edge of the grill - its easy!
