remote key fob

I have a key fob for my S4 but its a bit tatty.

Mine is 4DO.837.231

I've seen one on ebay but the code is 4DO.837.231.K!

How can i find out what frequency mine transmits on and whether or not the above would work on my car??

I don't trust keys off Ebay after all the probs I have had!
Best off going to a dealer and getting direct from there for around £140

the keys are available in 433 mhz for the european market and the 335 mhz for the japanese and american market

The fob's I suppose are ok, but the chip inside to programme to your car's imoboliser can be troublesome, my local dealer near me advised they are on Ebay for a reason and you might get 1 in 10 that actually works!
He may of been saying this so I pay dealer to supply me with a key, I have given up now and continue to use the same key I got with the car.:/
