REMAPS and OBD lockdown issues 3.0TDI CCWA 2011

A friend has an A5 cAB 3.0TDI (CCWA) 2011 that he is considering getting a bluefin map for. Do we know if there are any access to the OBD issues (security lockdown etc)? Or does he need to get the ECU opened up to be able to flash it with a remap?

You can do these via OBD once unlocked (unlocking can be done via OBD too)

No idea what bluefin does to be honest. But these edc17 cp14's can be unlocked via obd as its the way i tune them.
