Refurb my wheels

Looking at fixing a few scratches on my S3 Alloys.

Seems the paint code is 8Z8 diamond silver. Seems to be rare as rocking horse **** online?

A) Anyone used Halfords Diamond Silver instead?
B) Will i be able to purchase this stuff from Audi stealer in aerosol?

Any tips advice appreciated thanks!

Bump am i the only one to repair my own alloys?!

I refurbed a set of A4 alloys a few years ago.I wouldn't do it again lol If i was i'd at least have the alloys sandblasted to strip the old paint rather than doing it by hand like i did.

Halfords are fine for mixing paint, you won't get it in a rattle can from Audi, you'll need at least 4 big cans and 2 cans of etch primer as well as a can of clear coat.

FYI I have opted to get my wheels done in a body shop. Had a few issues OSF door lacquer peeled when i jet washed the door also a small dent above door handle. Offered to refurb wheels £40 each so all in all not too bad i thought.

Door lacqeur respray plus dent removal - 150
wheel refurb 40 each
