Recoding new 3button keyfob to replace 2 button one

Can i recode a 3 button fob and make use of the boot release on my car that has only 2 buttons right now?
Theres a load on fleebay, but i havent a clue what to look for!

Hi m8 If your boot has got a microswitches (not handles) then you would be able to operate it using new fob.

In short way if your car is after 2001 year then yes you can do it.

Regarding the keys, is it just a case of coding them to the car and the boot release will work or will that need extra work? It is the touch release type yes.
