Hi peeps im new to all this ive recently got a 1.8t and fitted a forge recirc valve but it doesnt seem to make much noise ive been told to adjust it but which way do i turn it?

They don't it's a recirc valve not a dump valve there's no air escaping to make the noise. And proper dump valves are not suitable for audis as the ecu is expecting the air to be released back to tip it compensates with the amount of fuel it releases if you were to fit a proper atmospheric dump valve the ecu would not realise the air has escaped and would lead to over furling and a unhappy ecu
