Rear Wiper Motor

I have an S3 2007 8P and my rear wiper motor has gradually stopped working.

I checked the fuse and that was ok.

I removed the motor and everything looked clean (no leaks etc). Electrical connector looks ok. I plugged in a new wiper motor from ebay and still nothing? (http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/251315696655?_trksid=p2060778.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT)

Anyone got any ideas how to troubleshoot this next?

Only logical thing I can suggest is that there is a fault code holding it off?

I doubt it will be a dud motor if you fetched it from that link up there ^ and if fuse is ok - I don't think there is anything else to check.

Where are you located? I have just removed mine so your more than welcome to plug mine in and see if that works, but I would get car scanned and any fault codes cleared.

Fixed it after searching the forums. I functioned it with the boot open and you need to boot closed for it to work.
