Think I've just caught it in time ! not sure whats in the black box but that was half full too !!

That would be your comfort unit (CCM), locking, alarm, lights etc... not good when they get wet. make sure you take it out and dry it completely.

suggest checking the rearscreen washer, if its blocked, the pressure will pop the inline connectors apart...
