Rear Washer Jet

Right, can someone please advise on this, my Audi S3 previously just used to spray into the middle of the rear windscreen when spraying the back and doing the rear wiper, but now for some reason, when I spray, it follows the wiper and sprays across the screen now.

Is this something wrong or is it how its meant to be and mine has just come into life??

On my old A3 and A4 avant, both used to follow the wiper blade, but just behind the blade.

Your old spray pattern is the right one. Mine follows the wiper, from what ive read its due to the copper washer pipe inside the motor becoming corroded and instead of being fixed it its moved by the motor, Rebuilt kits are about £45 or a second hand wiper motor if you know the nozzle doesnt move. I broke my motor so just de wipered the rear
