Hi all.

Do s3's have a auto dipping rear view mirror?.
I cant tell if mine has...or if it works?.

in the centre of the mirror glass theres an oval shape though?. does this do anything?.. it looks like someone has stuck a clear oval over the reflective part?.

Also, i rear there is an option for a built in compass?...is this an easy mod?

its an option the auto dimming mirror but the compass !!.....never heard of it before

It was an optional extra on the S3's. Here's a picture of the one in my old S3:

mine has the little sensor on the bottom... so i guess its just been played with.

I dont think a new mirror will be cheap either.

Just on the off chance have you checked your fuses?
