After owning my car a few days my friend noticed that my rear speaker were not working. After 5 mins of google i found out theres a factory sub that powers the rears. Following a guide i took all the trim off and got to it. tested the wiring plug and its getting power. My question is...Is the amplifier built into the sub or is it located somewhere else? Its a 8P3 035 382 BLAUPUNKT

On your non bose car, yes it is, bose cars have the amp separate on the opposite side of the car.
