Rear demister switch not working

I can't get the rear demister on. I have climate control. The button next to the hazard light won't "catch" as you push it in, nor does the light come on. This is regardless of whether or not the climate control is on, off or in any of its one million different complex settings. :s

The rear demister switch never latches on, its just a momentary switch

It should work regardless of any other climate control settings.

Have you checked the fuse?
